Was the officially licensed animal crossing one. I forgot to take a photo but came in the packaging and was shipped with extreme care. Debated not opening it for collectors sake even. Haha

But I got it on a Black Friday sale. Shipped faster than estimated and arrived almost a month early even. Was perfect and increased my switches memory 10 fold. Would recommend if running out of room for your gaming needs.

My son needed this for his switch… Now he has so many more games. I barely see him ever…. I am sure he still lives here… I hear scuffling from his room once in a while

I had no issue as of yet with this product. I installed it into my Nintendo switch and the system immediately recognized the device and installed or made the necessary updates. I have not used it to move content over yet but it fit and has not caused any issues to my system.

When purchasing items in preparation for the arrival of my Nintendo Switch, this product was highly recommended. Like a first time parent, I was doing lots research, spending, and very excited of my new arrival. I thought I had to only buy Nintendo licensed microSD’s only for the Switch to save/load games properly but that’s not the case. Anyways, the micro SD works and was easy to insert into my Switch OLED. *whispers* You can also buy the regular SanDisk microSD cards without the Nintendo logo; get more space for your buck ^_~

Received in original, and pristine packaging — no scuffs, rips, etc. Loaded up in my Switch without any issues.

For those less tech savvy, the storage capacity shown on the card is for UNFORMATTED capacity. When the card is formatted, it will ALWAYS be less than the advertised price. Some of this is because, as formatted, it will reserve portions for future ‘repairs’ to the data. In other words, if a portion of the card becomes corrupt or unusable, it will substitute part of that reserve for that data.

This has been industry standard for at least the last 30+ years for any data storage device.

I personally really like the SD card, I decided to get this on more of a collectors point and more of a novelty item for my switch.
it works exactly as you would expect, the print is excellent and for an SD card it looks fantastic

If you’re not too bothered about the novelty side of the card, I would recommend getting a regular micro sd card for your switch, you dont need this one any will do, as they all do exactly the same job.

My 32GB SD card ran out of room pretty quick so I grabbed this. This card is faster than my old card and much larger. Moving my data from the old card to the new was easy thanks to the Nintendo guide on their website — just search for «How to Transfer Data Between microSD Cards for Use on Nintendo Switch» and go to the nintendo.com result. You’ll also find the link to format the SD card using the official tool from SD alliance. This took a while on my card but it once you do a full format you’ll know it’s got no bad sectors and the filesystem is right. Simple enough to power off the Switch, remove the SD card, copy over the data by following the article (simple and quick drag and drop if you have two micro SD card adapters for your computer — I had one so copied to my local drive then onto the new SD card). Powered it back on and everything was good, and now I had space to move more games from the console storage to the SD card. You pay a premium for the official branded SD card vs. generic or even name brand but I caught it on sale and it was ok value.

I bought this for a friend, and he says it’s great. I wasn’t a fan of the original pricing for these cards, but for 15 the 128 gig version was great at the last minute.

Runs the games great, hasn’t failed. Will update if we run into problems!

Yes, having a Mario themed memory card for the Switch seems a bit pointless when an unbranded one will probably be cheaper and may work just as well but I think this is good value.

Prices seem to fluctuate on Amazon for this card but when I bought it the price was £24.74 which is good for a top brand 128gb memory card with the specs it has.

Having the security of knowing that it is a Nintendo endorsed product is very comforting as the last thing I want is to lose games and saves to a cheap card corrution.

I’ve included a picture of where the card goes (under the kick stand) as many people seem to struggle to find it.
I recommend this card no problem.
