Mr. C. Yaxley –
Recording 4K and 5K video at high frame rates requires a fast memory card, which is why I bought the Sandisc Extreme Pro. With a 200mbs write speed and 64GB this memory card is the best compromise between speed, memory capacity and price.
4K and 5K video requires a lot of memory card space and 64GB is more than enough for short 10 second – 30 second stock footage clips. If you shoot longer footage 64GB can fill up quickly so this is something to consider.
I have used Sandisc memory cards for several years and it has been my go to brand for all the cameras I have owned and still own. I have always found Sandisc memory cards fast, reliable and well made and this Extreme Pro card is no different.

I’ve been using the SanDisk 128GB Extreme Pro SD card for years now, and it’s always been my go-to choice for high-performance memory storage. The write speed on this card is lightning fast, and it very rarely has to catch up to my Canon EOS R, even when shooting in burst mode.
One of the things I appreciate most about this card is the value for money. It’s significantly less expensive than some of the other high-end options on the market, but it performs just as well, if not better. It’s a real bang for your buck, especially considering that I’ve been using it for years with no issues.
I’ve tried other cards in the past, but I always end up coming back to the SanDisk 128GB Extreme Pro. It’s reliable, consistent, and just a pleasure to use.
Overall, if you’re in the market for a high-performance SD card, you really can’t go wrong with the SanDisk 128GB Extreme Pro. It’s quick, reliable, and offers great value for money.

I ordered 2 since my a7iii takes 2 memory cards. Decided it was time to get new ones since it’s been about 4 years since I’ve replaced mine. SD cards tend to go bad after continuous use and can end up corrupting files. Its always better to be safe than sorry! Also the cards come with Sandisk memory recovery which is a huge plus!!!

I bought this for the Performance Date Recorder in my C8. It works flawlessly.

This was used with a CF adapter card in my camera. It works flawlessly and is fast.

I do a bit of semi-professional work and have recently acquired a rather expensive camera which can take multiple images in one frame (takes 8 images in one go) and can produce images of between 200-300 mb. as such being a dual slot camera I needed two of these and large capacity.
Not disappointed and Sandisk is my card of choice.
Comes with recovery software download and thats worth at least half of the cost.

At least this appears to be genuine. I tested it in my camera and it worked just fine. I have not tried to run any speed tests.

I shoot video in 4K, and I need storage I had some 128 gb cards and got into a two-hour event one event let to another to getting a fire and ran out of space and then had to Rangle other cards so the best think I know to do is buy more memory than you might use on average you only have to miss one important event to realize this

Good value, i get 169mb/s read and 96mb/s write on my pc with my new Lexar USB 3.1 card reader when i was testing my card.
On my old lexar usb3 reader i was getting about 89mb/s read/write.
I use these on the canon R6 and R7

Upon attempting to format the card, Windows [10] refused to format. Eventually I used diskpart to format it, a supposed 64GB card showed 27GB available. So even assuming it would work properly, it wasn’t even a 32GB card masquerading as a 64GB one. Did receive a full refund, but would rather have had a genuine product.

I wondered why my camera took so long to write photos to the storage card, thus causing a delay before
I could take another photo (it is a 46MP camera). It turned out I was using a 40 mega-bits per second card — just too slow. This new purchase from SanDisk is 200 mega-bits per second (MB/s) and suddenly my camera is back in action again, writing photos fast to the memory card — it’s like night and day. Definitely a worthwhile purchase and not expensive.
