I was thinking that the video feed could only be viewed while at home while on the same wifi network as the camera, but I was very happy to discover that with the app I can view the video feed from anywhere.
I also like that the camera can be adjusted left/right and up/down so that once I place it somewhere, I can easily fine tune the angles without having to put shims or something under it to prop it up just right.
Night vision is good, and motion detection is good. It even picks up little moths or insects flying by.
The only gripe I have is that the date of last motion detection is given in a few different places in the app (the home screen, the 24/7 recording section under the home section, the cameras screen, and the activity screen) but the dates don’t always agree with each other. For example, the activity screen will show no activity on days when there are recordings under the 24/7 recording under the home screen. I’ve found the home screen and the 24/7 recording screen under the home screen to be accurate, so I reference that and ignore the other places activity dates are given.

As with any electronic, the reviews can be polarized. I have been satisfied with this camera so far! We use it as a baby monitor for my son’s room. The night vision is great. The notifications can be personalized (I have it notify me for baby cries and person detection, not motion or other sounds). The range of views is great and ease of changing views is easy. I’ve been happy with the app too. I bought a 256GB SD card which allows us to go back and look at the camera recordings from the past. Most important thing to emphasize — with the SD card, you can go back and watch recordings without any subscription! You also get notifications without any subscription (with or without an SD card).
Only reason I gave this 4 stars- you cannot leave it streaming as a baby monitor. After 10 minutes, the screen times out and asks if you want to keep streaming. With that popup, you won’t hear anything. Huge design flaw if you’re looking to use it as a baby monitor. We have a sound/video monitor that we used when he was an infant, so we just use that for the monitor purpose when we’re sleeping. Overall very happy with the camera. We were disappointed that we couldn’t stream it continuously to use as a baby monitor, but since we figured out a work around, we don’t mind.

We had a pet cam (another brand) that we purchased a few years ago that just decided to stop working. I tried to reset it but nothing worked. So I started looking for a replacement and came across this camera. It was on sale, so I decided to invest in two of them. Our Yorkie likes to sleep on the couch when we are out and about (where our last pet cam was focused) but lately she also goes upstairs on our bed, too, so I needed a second cam.
I haven’t used all of the features yet, but what I really like is that I can set up zones for each cam so that rather than panning the room looking for her, I just have to touch a button and it automatically pans for me. Makes things so much easier! We can still manually pan if we need to do that, but more often that not, she is in one of the preset zones.
I really like this camera and would highly recommend it.

One of the best indoor cameras out there. I really belive that you are getting a fair value tp price when comparing to other cameras as there is no subscription involved and the camera is very customizable.
The camera quality can be chosen between 720, 1080 and 2 k, however, choosing the highest quality will make the recordings very heavy and you won’t be able to hold a lot of days in a sd card. Using the 256gb card at 1080 p allows me to keep more than a month’s worth of 24/7 recording available. The camera can be switched to be static focusing at a single point or you can choose up to four different points where in «Patrol mode» the camera will rotate between these at a customised time interval which is very help full as with a single camera you can have up to four different easy to reach views. The night vision on the camera is very good as the clarity is very good but beware because a person can see the IR beams to light up the ambient for the camera. One of the best features is the person tracker, when it detects a person it follows them until they are out of frame, however, if you walk fast you will out run the cameras tracking system and the camera will stop following. Besides, it has the ability to notify you if it detects sound, which is very useful when not present at home.
Overall, one of the best cameras out there as it is highly customizable event to the point where you choose when you would like to be notified by movement inside of your hzome. You can set it to notify you after every movement excedes between 0.1 to 5 seconds. I will definitely buy my next cameras from this brand.

We needed a set of cameras to help our parents catch some sneaky mice. Of course, we decided to test them before giving them over just to make sure they would do the job. I was definitely impressed with the motion tracking, and setting the cameras up was fairly easy through the phone app. To make things easier, we used our phone as a wi-fi hotspot for the cameras to connect to and configure. We used a couple of 128GB Sandisk cards and they worked fine. After setting up some zones for the cameras to monitor, they instantly locked onto anything moving in front of them. After a while of not seeing any movement, they’d go back to their designated search zones. Sure enough, they were sensitive enough to spot the mice using the night vision feature. You’ll need to pay for the cloud service if you want to set up timed recordings, but we just went with the standard 24/7 record. Viewing recordings through the app was easy enough and it will highlight moments where motion was detected. Now that the mice problem is taken care of, our parents will start using the cameras to spy outside of their backyard window and catch any critters who try to invade their veggie garden.

En mi caso tengo otras cámaras de exteriores TP link y la calidad es excepcional, esta cámara cumple su cometido pero no me gusta y tampoco entiendo por qué no guarda los videos de movimientos en la aplicación, solo los guarda en una memoria que no viene incluida en la cámara, por lo demás cumple pero no es excelente, la recomiendo si! Debido a que no encontrarás una cámara igual pero para exteriores!
