It’s a good product but my iphone crashed with it and the screen was damaged. I guess that it can happen with all those types of vent mount. I would also prefer a holder that could be charged

This bad boy is very convenient to slap your iPhone on and have no hassle of closing a lock mechanism or releasing one. Holds the phone like crazy. It’s never fallen off. You do need a vent that is stiff. My NV200 vent will easily rotate the vent from side to side and would have my phone leaning back and forth on turns.

This is the best car vent phone holder I’ve ever bought. I got it because I have an iPhone 12 and it is MagSafe compatible. The prongs that hold the mount in the vent are heavy duty and of a hood size so they grab and stay in. The phone sits firmly on the mount when you have it lined up properly. This is WAY better than any “squeeze” type vent mount ive ever used, where the phone would slide in the holder. If you have MagSafe compatible phone and want a vent mount, this is the one to get, IMO.

As is customary for Belkin, the company has produced an excellent MagSafe air vent mount for the iPhone. I have not done an air vent mount before in my car, but decided I would try one because it would elevate my iPhone so I could see it easily while driving without having to look down slightly which was what my previous setup required.
The air vent mount attaches snugly to my air vent and it sits nicely in my car. The mount can be moved in any direction, so finding the sweet spot for seeing your iPhone clearly from whatever air vent you use shouldn’t be too challenging.
I tried a few mounts before I discovered Belkin had made one. The mount is of nice quality. It’s not all plastic that can break easily; however, if I’m being honest, I’m not sure what it’s made of, some metal for sure and maybe hard plastic? Whatever it is, it is of solid sturdy construction.
The mount hands down has the strongest magnetic hold that I have come across for a car mount. Once you place your iPhone up to the mount and it bonds, it sits in the mount snugly and safely. I have not had the iPhone pop off even once from the Belkin mount. And I haven’t had the mount fall off either, but I sometimes give the mount a tiny push when I’m attaching the phone to make sure it is securely in place. It has not been an issue with being loose, but I noticed I was doing it anyway just to make sure.
I noticed some reviewers complained that the Belkin mount did not offer a charging feature. I’m not sure why they expected such an option with this mount when it is clearly not listed in the description at all. Maybe the price point of this mount led people to believe that it would also charge their phone when held by the mount because the price is significantly higher than many other brands. But I know that about Belkin and I think they deliver a better made product, not to mention they have outstanding customer service, though that is probably not needed on this item.
Overall, I would highly recommend this air vent mount by Belkin. My mount is securely wedged in my air vent and my phone stays on the mount, though to be fair I’m driving on regular roads not trails or uneven terrain. The price point might seem a little steep in comparison to other brands, but for me I don’t mind paying a little more and in exchange receiving a reliable good-looking phone mount. You honestly cannot go wrong with a Belkin product, in my experience.

Die Befestigung an den Lamellen scheint nicht sehr stabil. Habe einen Ford mit im wesentlichen Senkrechten Lamellen, da scheint das nicht gut zu halten. Ausserdem läßt sich der kopf nicht soweit drehen, dass eine Befestigung an den waagerechten Lamellen der Lüftung im Mittelkanal hilft. Auch hier scheint die Klemme nicht fest genug zu sitzen.
Die Klemme rutscht so sehr, dass ich mein iPhone daran nicht befestigen möchte. Leider gibt es bei der Rücksendung auch Probleme, offensichtlich habe das nicht bei Amazon direkt gekauft sondern über irgendeinen Händler, dem ich jetzt auch noch die Rücksendung bezahlen soll. Also lieber Finger weg !
