I have been using this laptop for a week and honestly find it pretty good. I went through a lot of reviews before making my decision and wanted to add my own for anyone thinking of buying this.
PROS:
-The screen is really vibrant. I haven’t noticed any screen bleed or dull colors and the refresh rate is great.
-The laptop stays very cool* under heavy gaming.
-It’s really snappy and responsive. I haven’t noticed any lag.
-The touchpad is very responsive and easy to use.
-The keys are slightly raised and feel a bit soft but in a good way. They’re pleasant to type on and it wasn’t hard to adjust to this smaller layout from a wider desktop keyboard.
CONS:
-The fan is loud when gaming. Like, really, really loud. It might be jarring if you’re coming from a desktop.
-Battery life is pretty bad and the performance decrease when not connected to a charger is not extreme, but noticeable.
NOTES:
-As the other reviews have said, you need to press the power cord in and hear it click twice.
-If you downgraded to Windows 10, you’ll want to redownload the relevant drivers from Acer’s website. I had to redownload the touchpad and io drivers to get mine working again.
-You’ll also want to redownload Nitrosense if you downgrade. You can use it to toggle on coolboost which keeps the laptop extremely cool. You can also allegedly use it to lower the speed of the fans but I didn’t notice a reduction in fan noise so I decided to keep it on coolboost.
All in all? The cons are pretty minor compared to the pros. I got it for a little under 800 dollars and consider that to be a steal.

I love it it reads 64gb of ram perfectly and not to mention that it runs like a dream only down side by far is the battery life runs out fairly quickly but it’s what you get for having a gaming laptop you can get everything to run at the highest settings. Just don’t expect to be crazy mobile if you are gaming but if you are just doing office stuff or school work from a full battery you will get quite some life out of it I love this product even with the flaw it has.

Es una muy buena laptop, fácil de upgradear, una pantalla que si da los 144 Hz, un procesador muy decente y la tarjeta gráfica tiene lo suyo, a pesar de ser de 4 GB, corre el CoD Warzone a 80 fps con todo alto
Aún me falta probarlo con más juegos, pero Minecraft, Left 4 Dead, rocket league, da todo a más de 100 fps estables
Solamente es recomendable invertir en más memoria (Tiene slot para una SSD y un HDD) y otra memoria ram (máximo 32 GB en ambos slots)
Si vas iniciando, es una muy buena opción, no es pesada, es bonita y solamente le echaría en falta la entrada para micrófono, de ahí en fuera todo bien

Performs well especially for a laptop and is great for gaming. I personally think that 8gb ram is a little too small for gaming and multitasking on your computer but it can be fixed by installing your own desired amount of ram later on. That goes as well for the SSD/HDD. Other than that it’s definitely it runs fine on a day to day basis.

This laptop is a great device for gaming. I’ve been using it for about a month now, and most of the games I play I can run on at least high, if not ultra/max/whatever the highest graphical settings are. I sometimes have to tone it down, depending what I play.
Screen quality is good, not really much to say about it. It has good brightness and a good 165hz refresh rate.
The only real issue I had was when I first got it. The speaker on the right was very low and sounded tinny. Like if you’ve ever had a speaker go out in your car, but the tweeter still worked, it sounded about like that. I was considering returning it, but I decided to open it up to make sure everything was connected properly and found a tiny screw lodged lodged in the speaker. Once I removed it, the speaker worked like normal. I can only assume it fell in there during assembly, and I couldn’t find any spots on the inside that appeared to have a missing screw. The sound quality on this machine isn’t superb, but for me that’s fine. If I need good sound quality, I’ll put on a headset. This laptop does have a 2.5mm headphone jack, so if you like wired headphones, that’s an option for you. If not, Bluetooth or a headset with a 2.4ghz USB receiver is also an option.
Speaking of disassembly, this was easy enough to open, as well. Just have to remove several screws and carefully use a spudger to remove the back plate. Access to ram and the extra storage bay were about as easy as expected.
It does get warm when gaming, but I think that’s expected with gaming laptops these days.
I haven’t tested the battery life, but i marked it 3 stars because, from my understanding, its…pretty bad. But I can’t imagine that will be an issue for most, unless for some reason you like to game on-the-go and don’t have access to an outlet for whatever reason.
All in all, I would recommend this laptop as a good mid-high tier gaming setup, if you prefer to use a laptop. Just keep in mind that the sound is probably the weakest point, so if you prefer to use your speakers instead of a headset, you might want to look elsewhere, but otherwise this is a pretty solid machine, in my personal experience.

De verdad que esta computadora me ha soprendido, anteriormente tenia una laptop Thunderobot con una RTX 3060 comprada en Ali la cual la vendi por que alguien me la quiso comprar y entonces al andar buscando otra laptop me tope con esta la cual la recomendaban en una pagina de expertos en gaming, el dia que la compra estaba en 19,999 , dije bueno ok , 12 mil menos que la computadora anterior , voy a darme la oportunidad de comprarla al cabo que Amazon acepta devoluciones, total que me llego en 9 dias, inmediatamente la destape ya que averigue que no pierdes la garantia al hacer lo, le aumente la memoria RAM para que dar en 16GB, le coloque un NVMe Samsung 970 evo plus de 1TB, y un disco mecanico 2.5 Sata de 1 Tb, ya con todo listo y funcionando , instale sniper elite 4, dead stranding, control, wolfenstein young blood, microsofot flight simulator 2021,Forza Horizon 4, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts, Halo Master Chief, A Plague Tale Innocence, Ori and the Will of the Wisps,Doom Eternal,NBA 2K Play Grounds entre otros , de todos estos juegos el unico que me dio Lag fue el forza Horizon 4, pero todos los demas los he jugado sin problema alguno, sinceramente recomiendo esta computadora, si quieres mayor potencia, te aconsejo que te armes una de escritorio con una rtx 3070 como minimo, porque entre esta laptop y una rtx 3060 no vi mucha diferencia en los juegos. lo unico malo que el precio se ha elevado bastante, al momento que estoy escribiendo esta reseña ya va en 27 y fraccion, ojala la vuelvan a bajar o la puedan encontrar en otra en mejor precio.

Muy buena laptop, para jugar está increíble, quizá no tiene tanta memoria pero se puede expandir. Lo único «malo» fue que me tardo 1mes en llegar, parecía de Ali expréss Haha, 15 días en confirmar y 15 en llegar aún habiendo pagado priority.
La seguiré usando y más adelante veré si actualizo mi comentario.

Performance-wise, it’s not bad. Sadly the rest is frustrating. The touchpad is a joke. If you don’t clean it frenquently the cursor jumps to the sides of the screen when you move it. The top left corner of the screen shows problems of brightness where it is a lot brighter than the rest of the screen during dark scenes in movies and games.
Also the frame is so flimsy that the screen starts to show an horizontal scratch because the plastic of the bottom part presses on the screen when you close the lid.
Save yourself the trouble and buy a better quality rig.

I haven’t found any real problems with this laptop yet, has a program mapped to a key that allows you to change the mode from battery saving to optimal performance which is really handly. The same program has other features like allowing you to manually control the speed of both of its 2 internal fans (one for cpu and one for gpu). Awesome little laptop for its price point, great for all around use and runs most games at max settings with decent frame rate. Definitely worth the money to me.

Overall very satisfied by the speed and expandability. That said, beware that the RTX 3050Ti is only accessible in the HDMI external monitor that plugs in this laptop. Try as you will you can’t assign the RTX to work with the laptop display. Even tried installing drivers direct from nVidia and Intel instead of the Acer ones. I didn’t buy the machine for gaming, but needed a portable PC capable of running my 3D scanner. Acer is mum in their forums regarding the issue and the bundled Windows 11 doesn’t help either. There is no option in the BIOS to disable the Intel GPU. Knocking 1 star overall and 2 for the «gaming» category. Disappointing that I can’t run my 3D modeling software with the RTX instead of the Intel GPU.
